Behind the Wheel lessons will be added continuously everyday and the link will display 14 days at a time. When one day ends the next day will open up with new sign ups. Please check this link daily for openings!

1st Semester Sophomores in Driver's Ed Classroom

They will start their 12 driving lessons with an instructor at East during their scheduled class period. 

2nd Semester Sophomores in Driver's Ed Classroom

They will be permit-tested in the middle of November and begin their driving lessons with a certified instructor at East in January.

Juniors & Seniors

Must complete their 12 behind-the-wheel lessons with a certified instructor at East by signing up on the After School/Weekend Sign Up Genius Link listed below.

First-time Standard Issued Illinois Driver’s License/ID Card Applicant An applicant applying for a standard issued Illinois driver’s license/ID card for the first time is required to present documentation of the following:

• Proof of date of birth;

• Proof of Social Security number;

• Proof of residency (one document); and

• Proof of signature.
