Attention Juniors and Seniors – Have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher? If so, you are invited to join our counselors for the National Hispanic College Fair on October 3rd. Come to Student Services and pick-up a flyer with details. Space is limited. Completed Trip Consent form needs to be returned to Student Services by September 27th.

Attention Seniors: In order to have your Senior Picture appear in the Yearbook, you must have attended the FREE portrait session over the summer or plan to come this week when Root Photographers is back at East. See Mrs. Torres in room 219 if you need more information.
The 2018 Homecoming Dance is quickly approaching. Join us on Saturday, October 6th for a night you won’t forget! If you are bringing a date from another school, you must have a date request form filled out AND SIGNED by both your PEHS dean and the other school’s administrator in order to buy your ticket. AGAIN, this form must be completed AT THE TIME OF TICKET PURCHASE or you will be turned away. These forms take time, so grab yours from the attendance office TODAY. Stay tuned for more details regarding ticket sale dates.
** Attention DECA members: Our next DECA Business Club meeting will be after school today until 2:45 pm in Room 130. Please bring your information card and dues. New members are welcome. See Mrs. Haney if you cannot be there.

The Bengal Math Crib will be closed on Thursday due to an all staff meeting. We apologize for any inconvenience. Again the BMC is closed Thursday!
Tracey, Teen Services Librarian from Plainfield Public Library will bring a button maker and all the supplies you need to design and create your own custom buttons. We’ll provide materials to bring your imagination to life or you can use provided designs to make buttons that can be used to decorate your backpack or as gifts for your friends. This will take place in the Media center during all study hall periods today. Please stop down to the media center to sign up for this event.
Table top club is cancelled this week due to a staff meeting. We will see you next Thursday, Sept. 27. See Mr. Dolson in 116 with any questions.
Thank you from Global Citizenship Club to all students who signed up for the blood drive, next Wednesday, September 26th! We have 5 spots left for our double red donation, which takes longer than a normal donation. To donate double red, you must be 17 or older, and males must be at least 5'1" and 130 pounds, and females must be at least 5'5" and 150 pounds. Stop by the table during lunch TODAY or see Ms. Nordin in room 420 to sign up. Thank you for your support!
