The word of the week:

Attention Juniors……you will need to get your Meningitis vaccine before the first day of school or you will not be able to start your Senior year.

If we do not have it by August 1st you will not be able to view your classes on line and risk a chance of losing one you chose.

If you can get it and bring the paperwork into the nurse’s office by the end of your Junior year, you will be ready for Senior Year.

Thanks to the Student Environmental Action Coalition, Plainfield East is now an Earth Flag school which recognizes our commitment to the environment. We collected 2,200 chip bags this semester - these chip bags will be kept out of the landfill and recycled into other materials. We will be collecting chip bags next year too along with other actions we can take to reduce our ecological footprint. Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshmen – listen to the announcements in the fall to see when our meetings are if you would like to join the Student Environmental Action Coalition.

Attention Latin American Student Organization members, we are having our end of the year fiesta Today at 2:20 in the 100 Open Area. Don’t forget to bring something to share!

Please remember to check the lost and found in the café before the last day of School.

Today’s News in Sports

"Interested in a career in sports? Considering pursuing a sports-related degree in college? Just like sports and willing to help out? There will be an informational meeting for the 2018 Football Operations Team after school on Tuesday, May 22nd in Room 412. This is a great opportunity for those who would like to get involved at East, and the scheduling is flexible to work around your other commitments. No experience required. If you have any questions, or are unable to make the meeting, please see Coach Terry in Room 412."

Attention all girls interested in running cross-country in the fall: We will have a mandatory meeting after school in room 126 on Wednesday, May 23rd. The meeting should only take 10-15 minutes and we will discuss our summer running program. If you cannot attend please see Mrs. Lotarski ahead of time.

REMEMBER, IT’S BEST TO BE A BENGAL AND HAVE A GREAT BENGAL DAY!
