The word of the week: abrogate – revoke formally
Attention Seniors – The January 1st deadline is quickly approaching and will occur when we are on Winter Break!
Please note, Counselors and teachers are also on Winter Break starting the afternoon of Friday, December 22, and will not return until Monday, January 8.
If any of your colleges have a January 1st deadline or another deadline while we are on Winter Break, please be sure you have added your teacher recommendation and transcript requests through NAVIANCE by 1:00pm Friday of this week (December 15).
If you do NOT have your requests in by 1:00pm Friday of this week (December 15), we cannot guarantee that your materials will be sent in time to meet your January 1st deadline.
If you have requested a letter of recommendation, please be sure you have completed you letter of recommendation survey in NAVIANCE.
If you have questions, please utilize the College Career Center in Room 107 or contact your counselor.

-There are many items in the lost and found. Please check in the Café before Christmas break. All items will be donated to Good Will if unclaimed.
Muslim Student Association invites all students to relax before final exams with a fundraising movie night.
The event will be held on FRIDAY Dec. 15 in the Media Center from 2:30 to 4:30.
Admission is $1 and includes a free hot chocolate.
Baked treats will be available for purchase.
Raffle tickets will be sold.
Movie goers can also get henna tattoos during the movie for various prices from $3 to $10.
All proceeds will be sent to the Burmese Task Force to help refugees.
Spread the cheer through charity.
-Are you looking for a way to get rid of winter clothes? Donate to Key Club’s Winter Clothing Drive! Drop off gently worn winter clothing items into labeled bins in the lobby starting now through Thursday, December 21st. Thank you for your donation, and Go Key Club!
-There will be a Student Environmental Action Coalition meeting Today after school in Ms.Young’s room 415.
-Attention Latin American Student Organization members, we have a meeting today at 2:20 in the 100 Open Area. New members are welcomed to join us!
-This year’s Spring Musical is Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat!!! We hope that you Go, Go, Go to auditions next week Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday! Packets will be available starting today after school and signups will start today in the choir room. Singing and dancing auditions are both required for this show. This Thursday, December 14 from 2:30-3:30pm. Contact Miss K in the choir room if you have any questions!
-Attention NAHS: THURSDAY 12/14 is our tie-dye/holiday party! Bring your NAHS shirt, a plastic bag, and food to share to 226 from 2:20-3:30!
-Attention Bengals: The ASA Holiday Potluck is scheduled for this Friday in room 428 from 2:15-3:30 and everyone is Make sure to DM @pehsASA by Wednesday with what food you’re bringing. If you are unable to bring food donate money for pizza. We hope to see you there!
-“Mu Alpha Theta will be holding its December meeting this week on Friday starting at 2:20pm in room 208. Please see Mr. Kass with any questions.”
